I love changing up the kind of canvas I choose to create on. The other day I was at a cute little thrift store in my city and found this frame with an old print inside for $1. I instantly could image the kind of painting that would fit great inside and brought it home with me, cleaned up the frame, and got into the studio to start. 

After about 1o minutes of searching interest for a good reference 

This painting was made for a skillshare class on impressionism.

This piece was done as a gift for someone for Christmas from me while being a good chance to practice painting up close flowers. While I still am not super proud of this, it does give me a good foundation to work up from when painting foliage.

This was another painting that I am not super proud of, but I did this just to practice different techniques and loosen up after a few weeks of not painting.
