Works of art by Dee Marie

Art comes from a part of the soul that stays forever in limbo. The part that retains the wonder we have as children, but grows and changes with a life of experiences. My art retains the wonder of color, the way the world looked in each of my memories, but the story in each of my pieces is a lesson I have learned.

I have always loved color, and story telling so those were my first inspirations to dive into the art world at a young age. Once I reached high school, introduction to art history furthered my interests. Art also has always been therapeutic to me providing me with control over everything on a canvas.
